As the U.S. introduced rock and roll music to the world through Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry, TVs took over the American family’s living room. Globally, the Korean War dominated many headlines, the Cold War was underway, and the space race started with the launch of Sputnik 1.
Join Minnesota Landmarks as we celebrate the 1950s at our sixth annual Once Upon a Time Gala, benefiting Landmark Center’s free and low-cost community programs. Come dance at the sock hop, while supporting quality cultural experiences accessible to all.
Black tie optional, period costume encouraged.
